AI Council is an experiment in structured AI deliberation. Instead of asking one model for an answer, a configurable panel of models responds in phases, reacts to each other, checks for consensus, and produces a final synthesized verdict.
Features
- Configurable Council: Add, edit, enable, and order AI personas with their own models and behavior.
- Opening Statements: Each model starts with its own position on the user's question.
- Discussion Rounds: Models take turns responding with access to the previous replies.
- Consensus Detection: A judge model checks whether the council has converged after each round.
- Final Verdict: A summarizer model turns the deliberation into one coherent conclusion.
- Live Streaming: WebSocket events stream phase changes, tokens, and verdict output to the interface.
Technical Details
Built with a React + Vite frontend and a FastAPI backend. The backend uses async OpenRouter calls, WebSockets for live session updates, SQLModel with SQLite for persistence, and Docker Compose for running the frontend and backend together.
