What I do when I'm not at work: Formula 1, sim racing, the homelab and two cats.
Formula 1
Race weekends are sacred. The strategy calls interest me as much as the racing itself: tyre choices, undercuts and the pit stops that decide a championship.
My 2025 season recap
- Circuit Zandvoort
One lap of Zandvoort
4.259 kilometres of dunes and banked corners, and the home of the Dutch Grand Prix. Scroll to drive it.
Sim racing
The closest I get to a race seat: chasing lap times on my sim rig, mostly in iRacing and Assetto Corsa.
Homelab
An Unraid server with a 6TB parity array, running around a dozen containers: media, home automation and whatever I happen to be testing.
The hardwareHome automation
Home Assistant runs the lights and the media around the house, and gives me an excuse to keep tinkering.
My cats
Two cats who graciously allow me to live in their house. They provide emotional support, chaos, and occasionally knock things off my desk.
Always happy to talk F1 strategy, sim racing setups or home server configs. Send me an email.
